What do we mean by self-care? In health care, self-care is any necessary human regulatory function which is under individual control, deliberate and self-initiated. Self-Care is the ability of individuals, families and communities to promote health, prevent disease, and maintain health and to cope with illness and disability with or without the support of a health-care provider. Some examples of self-care are, Develop a regular sleep routine, Aim for a healthy diet, Take lunch breaks. Go for a walk at lunchtime; Take your dog for a walk after work, Use your sick leave, Get some exercise before/after work regularly. Why is self-care important? Self-care helps you to build a positive friendship with yourself such that the pleasant emotions can be carried on to others. You cannot offer something you don’t have for yourself to anyone. Although some can misinterpret self-care as selfish, it is a long way from that. You don’t find your desires only as you pay enough attention to your health. You reinvigorate yourself to be the best version of yourself for the people around you. Everyone around you also benefits from the renewed energy and joy you exhibit. Few tips of self-care:
Shower regularly so you're smelling fresh and clean
Try to shower every 1-2 days to get rid of any sweat or dirt on your skin. Use a body soap and shampoo your hair every couple of days as well, especially if you've been sweating or outdoors.
Get enough sleep
So many individuals are robbed of sleep and our physical and emotional wellbeing is subject to to a fee. They appear to have put too firmly on the principle 'hard work costs.' Your food is a huge part of self-care and it's an thing that you should be vigilant with. Yet the constant indulgence in such delicacies is NOT self-care. Healthy, healthy food is one of the greatest things nature has to give us. Make a routine of drinking healthy and consuming good foods.

Getting organized is often the first step to becoming a healthier you, because it allows you to figure out exactly what you need to do to take better care of yourself. A small change, like keeping a planner or a calendar on the fridge, can help you write down all your responsibilities and appointments, while at the same time keeping your life a bit more organized.
