In the Gregorian calendar New Year’s Eve (also known as Old Year’s Day or Saint Sylvester’s Day in many countries), the last day of the year, is on 31 December. In many countries, New Year’s Eve is celebrated at evening social gatherings, where many people dance, eat, drink, and watch or light fireworks.

Some of the top notch places for new years eve are as follows:

1-Sydney: The first major international city to welcome New year at midnight is Sydney. In Sydney Harbor, a big showcase of fireworks takes place with a spectacular setting at both the Opera House and Harbor Bridge. Islands on either side of the harbor or family-friendly parks provide great views.Sydney Bonus–Summer has just begun and the city’s beaches including Manly, Bondi and Bronte can also be taken advantage.

2-Taipei, Taiwan: A multimedia spectacle is the New Year’s Eve in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. Taipei 101, the tallest city building, is the pad for a fireworks show. Prime sites for this function are the National Memorial Hall of Dr. Sun Yat-sen and the Xinyi Commercial District. The city also sponsors concerts that lead to the big event. And perhaps you want to go to one of the great nightlife in Taipei

3-Bangkok: Bangkok often lists the best nightlife in Asia. Of course, if you like crowds, sounds and revelries, it is a natural place to usher in a new year. Central World Plaza is one of the most popular locations for celebrations in Bangkok’s response to the Times Square. The Asian shopping and entertainment district along Chao Phraya River is another famous meeting place. Perhaps the party is going to continue in one of the impressive bars like Red Sky or a sky-high restaurant like Sirocco. If the revelry is too much, calm down in a temple like Wat Pho with its lying Buddha.

4-Dubai: The Burj Khalifa in Dubai is one of the world’s most glamorous skyscrapers, and this is more than just New Year’s Eve. The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world (2,716.5 feet), as 2019 ends and people gather to welcome the New Year with an impressive fireworks display. Burj Plaza is not far away and a little more peaceful with friends. Dubai is becoming known as a major destination, so while you’re here, you might like to enjoy top-class restaurants like Cavalli Club Dubai. And if you’re thinking about shopping, look out for the Dubai Mall, one of the biggest in the world.

5-Moscow: Moscow Historic Red Square has one of the coldest but also one of the most enticing locations for fireworks for New Year’s Eve. You may want to see a tomb of communist leader Vladimir Lenin, one of the world’s most visited, and take a trip of the Soviet Cold War relics. The Ritz Carlton in Moscow is for you if you really want to celebrate with a great Russian flair. It is central and has a bar on the rooftop.

6-London: Stately London offers a remarkable setting for New Years Eve fireworks along the Thames always. Free firework can be seen on hilltops, including Primrose Hills, the House Hill on Hampstead Heath, Greenwich Park and Alexandra Palace, but you can also see fireworks free of charge. Another great vantage point is a river cruise on a Clipper boat. London Skybar is hosting a 12-hour party with Champagne DJs, live bars, limitless views of the London skyline on the 28th and 29th floors of Millbank Tower. Bell boy escorts, dedicated dining services, complimentary food, and wine, and a Champagne breakfast from 4 a.m. are included in tickets for £ 325 (USD 426) or £ 650 (USD 852). A traditional way of welcoming the prospect of a new year is to settle into one of the oldest pubs in London, including the Old Bell Tavern, where adult drinks have been available since 1670.
