The world is in a constant race of upgrading everything with time. If we look back to the early 80’s there were many things new for people. For example, traveling by air, elevators, escalators, cell phones and many more. With every passing day we are moving towards new inventions and all of this is due to the development within the technological sector. Let’s talk about the Skyscrapers that have now become the new norm or trend in the building sector. They are, in a general way, a new thing for people because people find it very interesting when they visit buildings and towers as high as the sky. These buildings are also considered a part of historical heritage which people love to visit and explore. This shift in advanced building construction came in the 20’s. These buildings are not only high buildings but have the interior and construction that is worth a visit.
One common feature of all the skyscrapers is that they have a steel framework that supports curtain walls. These curtain walls either bear on the framework below or are suspended from the framework above, rather than resting on load bearing walls of conventional construction. Some early skyscrapers have a steel frame that enables the construction of load-bearing walls taller than those made of reinforced concrete.
